Regarding the traffic accident that occurred on the evening of June 26 on Binh Than Street (Dai Phuc Ward, Bac Ninh City), the police agency determined that the driver who caused the incident was Lieutenant Colonel HSP - Captain of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Bac Ninh Provincial Police.
Implementing the direction of the Director of Bac Ninh Provincial Police, the Department of Personnel Organization and the Department of Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police held a meeting to review and evaluate the level of violations of Lieutenant Colonel HSP.
Based on the behavior and level of violations, the Director of Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department decided to: Remove Lieutenant Colonel HSP from the position of Team Leader and continue to temporarily suspend Mr. P from work to serve the investigation, verification and handling of the case.
Regarding the investigation and verification of the traffic accident, the Director of Bac Ninh Provincial Police assigned the Office of the Investigation Police Agency and the Traffic Police Department to coordinate with relevant units to continue investigating and strictly handle the case according to the law.
Previously, on the evening of June 26, on Binh Than Street, a traffic accident occurred when Mr. HSP was driving a car and collided with a motorbike carrying 2 people. After that, the car continued to collide with 9 motorbikes parked on the road and another pickup truck. As a result, 2 people on the motorbike were injured and had to be treated at Bac Ninh General Hospital.
Measuring alcohol concentration in the presence of people for Mr. HSP gave the result of 0.435 mg/l of breath.
