On the afternoon of July 4, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office held a conference to announce decisions on organizing the agency's apparatus and appointing officials.
Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Dang Minh Thong, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
The conference announced the decisions to establish departments under the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and appoint department heads and deputy heads.
Accordingly, the decision was made to establish the Administration Department under the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; appoint comrade Pham Hoang Lam to hold the position of Head of the Department and Deputy Heads of the Department including comrades: Trinh Thi Hong Lien, Nguyen Huynh Phong, Pham Minh Hai, Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong, Le An, Nguyen Thi Phuong Khanh, Nguyen Thi Tam.
Decision to establish the Party Economic Department under the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; appoint comrade Pham Nho Hong Thuong to hold the position of Head of the Department and Deputy Heads of the Department including comrades: Tran Van Hoa and Truong Nhut Cam Ngoc.
Decision to establish the Digital Transformation - Cipher Department under the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; appoint comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy to hold the position of Head of the Department and Deputy Heads of the Department including comrades: Nguyen Khac Nghiem, Le Trong Hiep, Doan Ngoc Tuan.
Decision to establish the General Department under the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; appoint 3 comrades to hold the position of Deputy Head of Department: Tran Dang Nam, Ho Thi Hong Phuong, Ly Tan Trung.
Decision to establish the Administrative - Archives Department under the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; appoint comrade Duong Thi Hong Chuong to hold the position of Head of the Department and Deputy Heads of the Department including comrades: Bui Kim Van, Vo Minh Phuong, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, Nguyen Thi Lanh, Ho Hong Sang.
Decision to establish the Party Finance Department under the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; appoint comrade Vo Thanh Hai to hold the position of Head of the Department and Deputy Heads of the Department including comrades: Vo Van Tai, Truong Hoai Phong, Pham Thi Thu Ha, Phan Huu Hoang.
Speaking at the assignment, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi emphasized that the Central Government has high expectations for Ho Chi Minh City with its great potential and advantages to become a super city.
“With the great requirements and expectations of the Central Government, Ho Chi Minh City and each team of city officials must make more efforts, including the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office,” noted comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi.
Therefore, the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee continues to promote the tradition of the Party Committee Office, the spirit of solidarity, promote the achieved results, perform well the functions and tasks of the Party Committee Office, and meet new and higher requirements in the new context of Ho Chi Minh City.
Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi requested that each cadre and civil servant must strive to work to the best of their ability, be more responsible, and innovate more strongly and be more creative in thinking and action. In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office also needs to promote solidarity, unity of will and action, for the common benefit of Ho Chi Minh City.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also requested the Office of the City Party Committee to quickly stabilize the organization, immediately approach the work, and promote digital transformation. At the same time, review the working conditions, travel, and accommodation so that the staff can stabilize their lives, quickly get to work, especially focus on doing a better job of synthesizing, forecasting, and evaluating the situation to do a good job of advising superiors.
