(Dan Tri) - Nghinh Phong Tower Square ( Phu Yen ) won the World's Leading City Tourism Construction Award 2023 and the Asian Urban Landscape Award 2023.

Nghinh Phong Square is built on the coast of Nguyen Huu Tho - Doc Lap Street, Ward 9, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province. This is an architectural project that started in 2020 and was completed in 2021 with an area of over 7,000 square meters including the following items: Two main towers, stage, square.

The main tower is made up of many vertical, uneven hexagonal stone columns. This idea comes from the geological structure of Ganh Da Dia - a famous unique landscape of Vietnam. 100 vertical stone columns are arranged close together and divided into 2 tower blocks, symbolizing the legend of father Lac Long Quan and mother Au Co with 100 children going up the mountain and down to the sea to expand the territory and build the country.

The high stone wall between the two towers is a relief depicting the 400-year-old construction of the land by the Phu Yen people. The path between the towers is a place chosen by many tourists to take pictures and capture beautiful moments.

Since its inauguration, Nghinh Phong Tower has become an unmissable destination on the Phu Yen tourist map.

Visitors checking in at Nghinh Phong Tower can immerse themselves in nature on the poetic and peaceful beach amidst the bustling life in Tuy Hoa City.

Mr. Cao Dinh Huy, Chairman of Tuy Hoa City People's Committee, said that in November and December 2023, Nghinh Phong Tower Square (Phu Yen) won two international awards: World's Leading City Tourism Award 2023 and Asian Urban Landscape Award 2023.

The project is evaluated according to 5 criteria: environmentally friendly; sustainable safety; respect for local culture and history; high artistic quality contributing to the development of the area and being a model for other cities.

At night, Nghinh Phong Tower is illuminated with Bobine Tesia technology, 3D mapping and high intensity lasers, creating a captivating, magical feeling.
