ACB Chairman received 4.2 billion VND in salary in 6 months
Mr. Tran Hung Huy, born in 1978, is the son of businessman Tran Mong Hung - one of the founders and long-time Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACB.
Mr. Huy joined ACB in 2002 and officially assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2012. He took on the task when the bank was facing many difficulties after the events of Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien (Bau Kien) and a number of former leaders were prosecuted.
According to the 2024 semi-annual audited financial report, ACB Chairman Tran Hung Huy's remuneration is 4.2 billion VND after 6 months, on average he receives 700 million VND per month.

In the first 6 months of 2024, ACB spent more than VND 23.3 billion on remuneration for members of the Board of Directors, an increase of nearly VND 5 billion compared to the first half of 2023.

Currently, the Executive Board has 9 members including General Director Tu Tien Phat and 8 other Deputy General Directors. In which, Mr. Tu Tien Phat's salary is 5.6 billion VND after 6 months, an average of 933 million/month.
The three members of ACB's Board of Supervisors will receive a total salary and bonus of VND6.6 billion in the first half of 2024. On average, each member will receive about VND2.2 billion/person after 6 months, equivalent to an average of VND366 million/person/month.
ACB boss and related people hold shares worth nearly 10,000 billion VND
According to ACB's management report, Mr. Tran Hung Huy is the leader who owns the largest block of shares at ACB, with more than 153 million units, estimated to be worth more than VND 3,825 billion at the market price at the trading session on January 6, which was VND 25,000/share.
In addition to Mr. Huy, his mother, Ms. Dang Thu Thuy, also owns more than 53 million ACB shares, equivalent to about VND1,325 billion. Ms. Dang Thu Thuy is currently a member of the Board of Directors of ACB.
Companies related to Mr. Huy, including Giang Sen Trading Investment Joint Stock Company, Van Mon Trading Investment Joint Stock Company and Bach Thanh Trading Investment Joint Stock Company, also own a large number of ACB shares. Specifically, Giang Sen holds 80.29 million shares (accounting for 2.07% ownership), Van Mon owns 44.39 million shares (1.14%) and Bach Thanh owns 55.9 million shares (1.44%).
Thus, Mr. Tran Hung Huy, together with individuals and related entities, owns more than 385 million ACB shares, equivalent to more than VND 9,625 billion.
