Ho Chi Minh City Chairman sends letter of commendation to units that disburse more than 80% of public investment

In the letter, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai said that the functional departments of districts 1, 4, 8, 10, Go Vap, Phu Nhuan, Binh Chanh and Cu Chi districts have effectively implemented the 60-day and night emulation movement to speed up the disbursement of public investment.

These units have closely coordinated with city departments and investors of projects using budget capital to speed up compensation, support, resettlement, equipment procurement and construction of projects.

By December 1, localities had disbursed over 80% of the assigned public investment capital for 2023, especially Go Vap district had disbursed 99% of the very high total assigned capital (VND 1,640 billion).

The head of the Ho Chi Minh City government requested departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, Thu Duc City, and project investors to continue to overcome difficulties, promptly resolve problems, make more efforts to complete compensation, support, resettlement, early land recovery, site handover, speed up construction progress of projects in the remaining 30 days of 2023, complete disbursement progress according to plan and commitment to the city leaders.
