Stocks "collapse" again at the end of the session

VN-Index at one point increased by 10 points due to good buying pressure at the bottom, regaining the 1,150 point mark. However, in just a few minutes at the end of the session, VN-Index turned around and fell sharply, leaving investors unable to react.

The Vietnamese stock market traded on September 26 with low liquidity because investors were still hesitant after three consecutive sessions of decline. The market fluctuated continuously during the session, opening the session with the VN-Index up 6 points but closing the morning session down 8 points.

In the afternoon session, the market maintained a fairly good green color. By around 2:20 p.m., the VN-Index had increased by 10 points, but in just the last few minutes of the session, the VN-Index turned around and decreased by nearly 16 points at the close of the session.

Real estate and securities stocks recovered strongly during the session because they attracted cash flow, but at the end of the session, many stocks also turned to decline. Specifically, the real estate group had LCG, TCH, SGR, DXS hit the floor; the Vingroup trio also fell quite deeply with VHM down 4.26%, VIC down 3.23%, VRE down 3.01%; NVL down 6.48%, PDR down 3.73%, NBB down 6.44%, TDC down 4.65%, SZC down 5.42%, DXG down 6.48%, CII down 5.34%, BCM down 3.09%... In this group, there were a few stocks that kept the rare green color: DIG up 2.73%, TDH up 0.39%...

Although the securities group could not maintain the highest increase of the session, there were still some codes that kept green: MBS increased by 5.08%, HCM increased by 1.18%, FTS increased by 0.53%, CTS increased by 0.19%, SSI increased by 1.81%...

Many remaining stocks continued to fall sharply, such as: APG hit the floor, VIX fell 5.14%, AGR fell 3.28%, VDS fell 3.47%, SBS fell 1.2%, VND fell 1.67%...

Banking stocks were differentiated, but mostly in red. Of which, CTG increased by 1.68%, VPB increased by 0.25%, MBB increased by 0.83%, SSB increased by 0.77%, VIB increased by 1.05% but VCB decreased by 2.58%, BID decreased by 1.66%, TCB decreased by 1.22%, SHB decreased by 1.82%, TPB decreased by 1.67%, LPB decreased by 2.94%, EIB decreased by 4.11%... In addition, many energy and retail stocks also decreased.

At the end of the trading session, VN-Index decreased by 15.24 points (1.32%) to 1,137.96 points with 317 stocks decreasing, 180 stocks increasing and 62 stocks remaining unchanged.

At the end of the session on the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index also decreased by 1.75 points (0.76%) to 229.75 points with 130 stocks decreasing, 65 stocks increasing and 49 stocks remaining unchanged. Liquidity decreased, with the total transaction value in the whole market being about 24,600 billion VND.

Foreign investors continued to net buy nearly 652 billion VND on the HOSE floor and focused on strongly buying Bluechips such as SSI, HPG, VCB...
