On the evening of March 18, at Thuy Dinh stage, Hoa Lu ancient town, the Department of Culture and Sports , Hoa Lu University coordinated to organize a Vietnam - Laos cultural exchange program. This is a monthly program to promote Lao culture in Ninh Binh province.
Attending the program were Comrade Bun Khong La Chiem Phon, Alternate Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary and Governor of Udomxay Province, and members of the Udomxay Provincial Working Group.
On the side of Ninh Binh province, the program was attended by comrades: Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tong Quang Thin, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Ninh Binh city, Hoa Lu district, Hoa Lu University and Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise.
At the Vietnam - Laos cultural exchange program, artists from Ninh Binh Cheo Theater and students from Hoa Lu University, including Lao students studying at the University, performed songs, dances and music praising the homeland and country of the two Vietnamese and Lao peoples, introducing the traditional beauty of each country and ethnic group, especially songs that enhance the friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
Through the deep and sweet lyrics and singing, the graceful dances have contributed to introducing the unique and special cultural features of both nations. This is also an opportunity to review the tradition of friendship, enhance understanding, tighten the special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation between the people of Vietnam and Laos in general and the friendly relationship between Ninh Binh province and Udomxay province in particular.
