Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club brings in 2 Brazilian players for the 2025-2026 season
Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club said goodbye to many key players after the 2024-2025 season such as Minh Vuong, Quang Nho, Ngoc Quang, Bao Toan.... Replacing important positions in the squad to prepare for the new season, the Pleiku team recruited 2 foreign players from Brazil.
2 Brazilian Stars: Power on the Field
On the morning of July 8, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club signed a contract with Khevin Fraga, after this player completed a medical examination. The defensive midfielder born in 1997 has an impressive height of 1.92 m and is versatile in the central midfield or center-back positions.
Before coming to Vietnam, Fraga played for Hibernians Club (Malta), played 33 matches, scored 5 goals, 4 assists and won the Malta National Cup 2024 with the team. Fraga joined Hoang Anh Gia Lai and is expected to strengthen the defense and increase the steel in the midfield with a strong playing style and ball control ability.
Two new recruits of Hoang Anh Gia Lai
Along with Fraga, Mr. Duc's team also brought in striker Gabriel da Conceição. The striker, born in 2001, is 1.83 m tall, trained at Botafogo and has played for clubs such as CRB, Figueirense and Maricá (Brazil).
He impressed with his skillful individual technique, high acceleration and intelligent positioning. In the 2024-2025 season at Boavista (Brazil), Gabriel played more than 20 matches, scored 3 goals, 1 assist and was one of the potential young players to be noticed in the Brazilian domestic league.
Thus, Hoang Anh Gia Lai currently owns 4 foreign players from Brazil, including center back Jairo Filho and midfielder Marciel Silva.
