Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh chaired a meeting of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the implementation of the project and draft Resolution of the Politburo on building and developing Vietnamese culture in the new era.
Previously, in Document No. 3806 dated August 1, 2025 sent to Deputy Ministers and Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry on the implementation of key tasks under the direction of key leaders of the Party and State, Minister Nguyen Van Hung assigned Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh to urgently direct units to develop a Plan, establish a Drafting Committee for the Project; clearly assign tasks, clearly establish progress, and thoroughly prepare documents in the following directions:
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism develops a Plan to implement the Politburo 's Conclusion on developing Vietnamese culture and people.
General review of all policies, guidelines, Resolutions, Directives, Conclusions of the Party and the system of legal documents of the State on the fields of culture, information, sports and tourism that have been issued; on the basis of general assessment of the results achieved and identification of bottlenecks and knots that have not been resolved, clarifying objective and subjective causes.
In addition, propose options for inheritance, supplementing new arguments, viewpoints and a system of breakthrough solutions, ensuring feasibility and clear action directions for the development of the Ministry and the entire Industry towards the goal of 100 years of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (1930 - 2030) and 100 years of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945 - 2045).
At the same time, it is clear that this is an important political task, which the General Secretary and the Party and State leaders pay special attention to; therefore, the work must be carried out urgently and decisively. The issued Resolution will contribute to enhancing the position of the Ministry and the Industry, determining the direction, long-term vision, and strategy for cultural development.
Regarding progress, the Minister requested to complete the draft report of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry before September 15, 2025; then continue to complete it and submit it to the Government Party Committee and the Politburo in the fourth quarter of 2025 in accordance with the direction of the Standing Secretariat (in Document No. 768-CV/VPĐU dated July 28, 2025).

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh emphasized that the development of the Project and draft Resolution of the Politburo on building and developing Vietnamese culture in the new era is very important to the development of Vietnamese culture in the current period.
Affirming the special attention of the Party and State leaders to the cultural field, the Permanent Deputy Minister requested relevant units to urgently implement assigned tasks, immediately complete the Plan for implementing the Project and draft Resolution, then establish a Drafting Committee, Editorial Team and start implementing the next tasks.
The Deputy Minister requested relevant units to thoroughly grasp the contents of Document No. 3806 dated August 1, 2025, urgently develop a Project to "filter" from there to develop a draft Resolution and draft related documents to report to competent authorities./.
