Delivery sector, Viettel Post's core business, continues to grow well.
According to the consolidated financial report for the second quarter of 2025, Viettel Post's net revenue reached more than VND 4,982 billion; consolidated profit after tax reached more than VND 99 billion, an increase of 14.62% compared to the second quarter of 2024. Accumulated in the first 6 months of 2025, Viettel Post's consolidated revenue reached VND 10,066 billion, completing 102.7% of the 6-month plan and increasing 4.1% over the same period. Consolidated profit after tax reached over VND 169 billion, completing 101.4% of the 6-month plan and reaching 42.3% of the yearly plan. Meanwhile, according to the separate financial report, profit after tax in the second quarter increased by 17.03% over the same period, demonstrating sustainable operational efficiency in core activities.
Profit margins improved despite pressure from input prices and increased competition. This result came from efforts to optimize costs, invest in automated warehouse systems and expand the application of technology in operational coordination, helping Viettel Post maintain its growth rate in the context of the general market facing many fluctuations.
The delivery sector, Viettel Post's core business, continued to grow well. In the second quarter of 2025, the volume of orders recorded an increase of 29.7% over the same period. Meanwhile, the warehousing and transportation sectors also recorded positive growth, reaching 60.6% and 63.3% respectively over the same period last year, contributing an increasingly large proportion to the revenue structure, reflecting the right direction in the strategy of shifting to the integrated logistics sector.
Profit after tax in the second quarter increased by 17.03% over the same period, demonstrating sustainable operating efficiency in core activities.
In particular, Viettel Post continues to maintain its No. 1 position in the traditional delivery market share in Vietnam with 28.9% market share, an increase of 5.4% over the same period in 2024. This result shows the clear effectiveness of the comprehensive restructuring of the organizational model in the direction of "streamlining - lean - strong", completed by Viettel Post in the second quarter.
The new model is designed to reduce management levels and decentralize authority to grassroots units, thereby increasing proactiveness and flexibility in operations and optimizing resource efficiency. At the local level, the branch network is restructured according to the local model, in sync with state management agencies and the Group's operating structure. From 63 branches, the system has been reorganized to 34 units, helping to shorten the coordination process and increase the speed of service deployment.
With a consolidated operating platform and a synchronously upgraded technology ecosystem, Viettel Post continues to prioritize the synchronous development of four strategic pillars: Delivery, Warehousing, Transportation and Trade Services, with an average growth target of 30% per year. The focus in the coming period is to expand smart logistics capacity, optimize operational efficiency by geographic area, and promote international cooperation to enhance competitiveness in the domestic and regional markets.
