Speaking at the opening of the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Huynh Xuan Son said that with its central location in the Central Highlands region, Da Nang always identifies e-commerce as one of the strategic breakthroughs to develop the digital economy, expand domestic consumption space and reach out to the international market.
Da Nang has been synchronously implementing many solutions to promote e-commerce development in the area, including operating Da Nang e-commerce sites and platforms; online shopping maps; implementing many policies, instructions, and supporting typical and characteristic OCOP and rural industrial enterprises... to participate in domestic and international e-commerce platforms;
Organized more than 30 training courses, seminars, and digital transformation training programs, with nearly 3,000 trainees who are enterprises, cooperatives, small businesses and traders on digital transformation, artificial intelligence applications, and instructions on livestreaming sales for small and medium enterprises and traders at markets;
Organize dozens of livestream sessions to sell OCOP products on TikTok, Facebook platforms... at fairs, shopping malls and traditional markets; deploy the "Market 4.0" model, markets, routes, "cashless payment streets" combined with support for QR stamps to trace origin and instructions for digital payments.
The above solutions contribute to bringing about positive changes in the awareness and actions of the business community and people, especially in the traditional retail sector.

In the coming time, the city will continue to coordinate with relevant units to implement technical support programs, policy orientation, professional training and deploy pilot models, organize and implement e-commerce activities in a systematic, effective manner and in accordance with local practices.
Information at the conference and event was held to evaluate the results of the series of events promoting regional linkages in e-commerce development implemented in the period 2023 - 2025 and orientation for implementation in the period 2026 - 2030.
