Pursuant to Decision No. 3901/QD-BVHTTDL of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions launched the Vietnam Art Photography Competition and Exhibition 2024.
Silver Medal Vietnam Art Photography Contest 2022
Pursuant to Decision No. 3901/QD-BVHTTDL dated November 7, 2019 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism approving the Project on organizing competitions, exhibitions, and festivals of Fine Arts and Photography works serving political tasks for the period 2020 - 2030;
The Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies and units to organize the Vietnam Art Photography Competition and Exhibition 2024.
The Vietnam Art Photography Competition and Exhibition is held every two years, an opportunity to gather photography creators nationwide; introduce outstanding works of art photography to domestic and international audiences; summarize and evaluate the creative achievements of Vietnamese photographers.
The 2024 Vietnam Art Photography Exhibition is expected to display 300 works in Hanoi in October 2024, and then continue to be displayed in a number of localities.
The Organizing Committee plans to receive entries for the 2024 Vietnam Art Photography Competition and Exhibition from May 2, 2024 to July 15, 2024.
Participants: Professional and non-professional photographers who are Vietnamese citizens and Vietnamese people living and working abroad, aged 18 and over. Members of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, Art Council, and Secretariat are not allowed to submit entries.
The Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions respectfully announces to agencies and organizations to know, to mobilize authors and individuals to participate, and to Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism/Departments of Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism/Departments of Culture and Sports of provinces and cities to know, to register for exhibitions locally.
The Organizing Committee will provide detailed information on the theme, content, form, specifications of the work, and how to submit works to the Vietnam Art Photography Competition and Exhibition 2024 in Notice No. 02.
