The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel recommends that citizens minimize unnecessary travel.

According to a VNA correspondent in Israel, in the early morning of June 13, the Israeli Home Front Command issued emergency security instructions nationwide to deal with the risk of a large-scale missile attack from the East, in the context of Israel conducting a military campaign targeting Iran's nuclear and missile facilities.

The main contents of the guide include:

(i) Suspend all educational activities, mass gatherings and workplace activities, except for essential sectors such as healthcare, security and energy.

(ii) Warning of a high probability of heavy missile attacks that could affect any area of Israeli territory, without geographical limitations.

(iii) All Israeli citizens and foreigners residing in Israel are requested to closely monitor updates from the Home Front Command and to be ready to enter shelters when a warning signal is given.

Based on the above situation and to ensure absolute safety of people and property, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has announced the following to the Vietnamese community in Israel:

1. Strictly comply with regulations and instructions on security measures of local authorities, minimize travel between cities during this sensitive time, try to stay near areas with shelters... Always prepare shelters, flashlights, water, dry food, medicine, communication devices and spare batteries; Do not gather, do not go to public areas, shopping malls or border areas. Proactively develop plans and strategies to ensure security and safety for yourself and your loved ones in the current war context.

2. Closely monitor alerts on the Home Front Command app and information on reputable local media.

3. Regularly keep in contact with the Embassy. In case of emergency, need support and need to know information about citizen protection plans, we recommend that our citizens contact the following citizen protection hotlines: +972-55-502-5616, +972-52-727-4248, +972-50-878-3373.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel will continue to closely monitor the situation and is ready to support citizens if necessary. The Embassy requests the Vietnamese community in Israel to remain calm, united and follow the instructions of local authorities to ensure maximum safety.
