On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 * July 27, 2024), with the national tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", on July 27, Phu Tho Power Company organized an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the martyrs who heroically sacrificed while on duty at Viet Tri Power Plant.

Representatives of leaders, officers and employees of Phu Tho Power Company offered incense to commemorate the martyrs who heroically sacrificed while on duty at Viet Tri Power Plant.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of Phu Tho Power Company; leaders of departments, offices, and affiliated Power Companies; Phu Tho Power Company Retirees Association and representatives of families and relatives of martyrs.

From 1967 to 1972, the US Empire escalated the war to attack the North. With the spirit of "The Fatherland needs electricity like the body needs blood", the cadres and workers of Viet Tri Power Plant bravely stuck to the machines and furnaces, both producing and fighting, always maintaining the power source. From March 1967 to August 1972, 13 cadres and workers of Viet Tri Power Plant heroically sacrificed their lives while performing production and fighting duties.

To commemorate and pay tribute to the martyrs, and at the same time record the historical milestones in the resistance war to protect the country in general and the Electricity industry in particular, Phu Tho Electricity Company built a memorial stele for the martyrs at Viet Tri Power Plant.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates respectfully offered incense and flowers, expressing their infinite gratitude to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.

Delegates visited the Memorial House for Martyrs of the Electricity Industry - where many valuable documents and artifacts of the Electricity Industry of Phu Tho province are kept.

Remembering the merits of martyrs and promoting fine traditions, generations of cadres and workers in the Electricity industry are always proud and willing to follow the glorious traditions of previous generations, striving, competing in production and business, completing assigned tasks well, worthy of the sacrifices and contributions of previous generations; at the same time, caring for, and creating conditions for people with meritorious services and families with preferential policies to overcome difficulties, develop the economy , and build a more and more prosperous homeland.
