TPO – This year, the pedagogical majors of the University of Education (University of Danang ) have extremely high scores, with some majors requiring candidates to score more than 9 points per subject to be admitted.
History Education major takes 28.13 points, Literature Education major takes 27.83 points, Geography Education major takes 27.90 points. The remaining education majors mostly take 25 points or more.
Speaking with Tien Phong reporter, Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Minh, Principal of the University of Education, stated that the current demand for teachers to teach various subjects is very high, there are many candidates taking the exam but the quota is limited, leading to high standard scores. For example, in the History Education major, this year the school only accepts 40 quotas.

“In recent years, the quality of subjects has changed very positively. Schools have changed their teaching methods to improve quality. High benchmark scores are not due to easy questions but because students are really interested, really study seriously and achieve high results,” Mr. Minh further analyzed.
Regarding the History Pedagogy major, he expressed his joy that this subject and major are increasingly popular. Last school year, the History Pedagogy major of the University of Education had the highest standard score in the school with 27.58 points, this year the score of this major continued to increase and is also the major with the highest standard score in the University of Da Nang. With 28.13 points, candidates get 9 points for each subject, if there is no priority score, they still fail.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Minh, currently, students are very interested in the education sector, along with regulations on tuition support, living expenses for education students, increased teacher salaries, etc., these are positive signs. Therefore, it is necessary to expand the enrollment quota for the education sector, if it is limited as it is now, it will lead to a shortage.
