The 2025 specialized competency assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education increased sharply in many subjects compared to last year.

On the evening of July 19, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education announced the score distribution of the specialized competency assessment exam in 2025.

This year, the specialized competency assessment exam attracted 28,880 candidates to participate in all 3 exam sessions.

Of which, 8,462 candidates took the math exam, with the average score of the candidates at 6.08, specifically as follows:

There were 3,187 candidates taking the physics exam, with an average score of 6.21, as follows:

There were 3,409 candidates taking the chemistry exam, with an average score of 5.91, as follows:

There were 6,888 candidates taking the literature exam, with an average score of 7.06, specifically as follows:

There were 4,856 candidates taking the English exam, with an average score of 6.94, as follows:

Compared to 2024, the average scores of subjects this year have some differences. Specifically, the average scores of math and chemistry in 2025 decreased slightly compared to last year.

Meanwhile, the remaining subjects all had higher average scores this year than last year. Specifically, the average score for physics this year increased sharply from 4.88 last year to 6.21 this year. Similarly, the average score for biology this year increased sharply from 5.47 last year to 6.44 this year. The average score for literature also increased sharply from 5.55 to 7.06. In 2024, English was the subject with the highest average score among the subjects at 6.74, and this year it continued to increase to nearly 7 points.

The number of candidates taking the specialized competency assessment exam at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education this year increased nearly 3.5 times compared to last year. Candidates' scores in many subjects also increased sharply, predicting an increase in the level of competition among candidates when applying to the school based on the results of this exam this year.
