Teacher suspended for slapping 2-year-old boy 31 times during lunch

On May 24, according to information from the Department of Education and Training of Bien Hoa City, Tuoi Ngoc Kindergarten (An Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai ) has decided to suspend teacher Nguyen Thi Bich Huong from work for beating a student.

Previously, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao (33 years old, living in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai) filed a complaint about her son, HMH (2 years old), being abused by a teacher at Tuoi Ngoc Kindergarten.

After receiving the complaint, An Binh Ward Police (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai) invited Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Huong, H.'s parent, to work.

At the authorities, Nguyen Thi Bich Huong admitted to beating baby H.

Specifically, during lunchtime on May 17, Ms. Huong used her hand to hit baby H. Through the school's camera footage, authorities confirmed that Ms. Huong used her hand to hit baby H. 31 times on the left cheek.

Reporting to the school leadership, Ms. Huong admitted that in addition to beating Hung, she also beat other children in the class, but only used her hands.

Immediately after the incident, the Board of Directors of Tuoi Ngoc Primary School decided to suspend teacher Nguyen Thi Bich Huong from work starting May 18.

An Binh Ward Police have reported to Bien Hoa City Police and Bien Hoa City Department of Education to resolve the matter according to regulations.
