On the morning of July 16, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the 2025 high school graduation exam scores of more than one million candidates.
According to Dan Tri newspaper's analysis of exam score data released by the Ministry of Education and Training, candidate Nguyen Viet Hung, a 12th grade English major student at Chu Van An High School for the Gifted ( Hanoi ), simultaneously "won" 5 valedictorian titles.
The titles include: National valedictorian of high school graduation exams, valedictorian of A01 (math, physics, English), valedictorian of C01 (math, literature, physics), valedictorian of D01 (math, literature, English), valedictorian of D11 (literature, physics, English).
This is the entire combination that male students can apply for university admission.
This male student's high school graduation exam scores were 10 points in math, 10 points in physics, 9.75 points in English and 9.25 points in literature.

Viet Hung said his plan is to use the A01 combination to apply for admission to the IT1 (Computer Science ) major at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Hung took extra classes in addition to math, combined with practicing test questions and studying with teachers at school. For physics, about a week before the exam, the male student started practicing test questions.
Commenting on this year's exam, the male student said that although it was a bit long, the exam was not as difficult as previous years.
In English, the male student was quite surprised by the difficulty, but with an IELTS 8.0 certificate, he still passed and only made a small mistake in the reading comprehension part about agriculture.
In 2025, the whole country will have a total of more than 1.16 million candidates taking the high school graduation exam, of which nearly 25,000 candidates will take the 2006 general education program and the remaining 1.13 million candidates will take the current program.
After the exam scores are announced, candidates need to pay attention to important milestones such as: Time to receive temporary high school graduation exam results certificate, exam results certificate, transcripts, related documents, submit appeal application (if any)...
From 8:00 a.m. this morning (July 16), candidates nationwide will be able to look up their 2025 high school graduation exam scores.
