He has removed the fixed brace protecting his leg, after the damaged cartilage and patella area recovered well. In the past few days, Van Hau has also confidently shared photos of the recovery process.
When can Van Hau return?
It is known that if everything goes well, Van Hau can return to play for the Hanoi Police Club in January or February 2026 - the time when the V-League enters the acceleration phase. This is also an extremely important stage for the Vietnamese team, because coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will prepare for the return match against Malaysia in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers and further, the 2026 AFF Cup taking place in the summer.
