In this afternoon's match, Coach Mai Duc Chung continued to use an experienced squad with goalkeeper Kim Thanh, and a defense consisting of Chuong Thi Kieu, Luong Thi Thu Thuong, Tran Thi Thu, Hoang Thi Lam and Ngan Thi Van Su.

The midfield consists of Bich Thuy, Duong Van, Thu Thao and Nguyen Thi Van, while Huynh Nhu is the spearhead in attack. The only change in the starting lineup of the Vietnamese women's team is the appearance of Hoang Thi Loan in place of Thai Thi Thao.

In the 6th minute, the home team took advantage of their speed and superior individual technique to open the score 1-0. Undaunted, the girls in red quickly tightened their formation and equalized thanks to Tran Thi Thu Thao later.
