On the evening of October 12, at the Cultural Center of District 8, Ho Chi Minh City, despite the rain, a large audience came to watch and cheer for the first performance of the play "The Journey to Find the Portrait" (author Khanh Hoang, director Hoang Tan) performed by actors from the Ho Chi Minh City Drama Theater.

Ho Chi Minh City Drama Theater will have 20 performances promoting typical literary and artistic works of high artistic value and practical content about studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
The script for "The Journey to Find a Portrait" was written by artist Khanh Hoang based on a story told by the late artist Le Vu Cau. The artists participating in the play are: Thanh Tuan, Thai Kim Tung, Tuan Nghia, Hoang Tan, Kien Binh, Au Khanh, Doan Thanh Phuong, Do Thuy, Hong Pham.
The play has been highly appreciated for its content and staging. After many performances to serve the audience, this is the first time the play is touring with 5 performances to serve this peak promotion period.
Today, at 3 p.m., Ho Chi Minh City Drama Theater continues to perform the play "Journey to Find a Portrait" at Phu Nhuan Cultural Center, Ho Chi Minh City.
