This ambitious goal is reinforced by Thailand's recent achievement of being ranked 8th globally for cultural heritage wealth by US News & World Report , along with 9 other countries in that order: Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Turkey, Mexico, Egypt, Portugal and India.

Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, stressed the government's commitment to promoting Thai culture and heritage.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the government is making efforts to introduce the country's unique cultural identity to the world.

Thailand's rich history, diverse cultural heritage and natural beauty contribute to its high ranking. The country's iconic landmarks, such as the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), continue to attract visitors from around the world.

By leveraging its cultural assets, the Land of Golden Pagodas aims to attract more tourists, stimulate economic growth and strengthen its international reputation.

The government believes that by investing in cultural initiatives and promoting culture abroad, the country can achieve its goal of becoming a leading cultural destination in the world.
