Geely Galaxy M9 revealed - Large PHEV SUV from only 909 million VND

The new 2026 Geely Galaxy M9 large hybrid SUV has been officially confirmed to go on sale in its home market of China this year. This will be Geely's latest strategic card to compete directly with high-end rivals such as Li Auto L9. The M9 is the latest model under the Geely Galaxy brand, a new energy vehicle division established by Geely in 2023. In the first half of 2025 alone, Galaxy sold 397,125 vehicles, according to data from China EV DataTracker, indicating strong growth in the domestic market. To date, Galaxy's product portfolio has 10 models and will continue to expand with the arrival of the M9.
In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy M9 has a Length x Width x Height of 5,205 x 1,999 x 1,800 (mm), a wheelbase of up to 3,030mm, only 4mm shorter than the Mercedes-Benz GLS. The Chinese automaker said that this SUV has a cabin space utilization rate of up to 88.3%, leading the segment. In particular, the rear door opens 1,165 mm high, with a ceiling height of 1,317mm, making it easy for passengers to get in and out and enjoy the spacious space. Inside the cabin, the Galaxy M9 is designed in a 2+2+2 configuration with two business class seats in the middle row and the third row of seats can be reclined up to 150 degrees. The center of the dashboard is a single 30-inch touchscreen, while the traditional instrument cluster is replaced by an augmented reality HUD display.
Notable amenities include a three-spoke steering wheel-mounted gearshift lever, a center console with wireless charging and cup holders, a sliding storage compartment that can be moved to the second row, a 30-inch ceiling display dedicated to the rear seats, a 9.1L refrigerator, a Flyme Auto audio system, and a premium dual-chamber air suspension system. The new Geely Galaxy M9 2026 in China is equipped with the Geely EM Hybrid 2.0 powertrain, including a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine (161 horsepower) combined with two electric motors. Although the official power output has not been confirmed, it is likely that this model will share the same system as the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P, with a total output of up to 390 kW (523 hp). Acceleration from 0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, with a maximum combined operating range of 1,500 km.
