VHO - On the morning of July 18, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai organized a training course for commune-level officials and civil servants in 2025 in the field of culture, sports and tourism. The training course took place over 2 days (from July 18 to 19).

In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai, Huynh Van Loi, shared that commune-level cadres and civil servants are the force that plays a direct role and regularly contacts the people; they are an important bridge in deploying and organizing the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws to the grassroots.

In the context of the country implementing a two-level local government, the requirements for commune-level cadres are increasingly high, not only in terms of professional expertise but also in terms of political mettle, innovative thinking, and the ability to perform tasks flexibly and creatively.

In particular, the field of culture, sports and tourism plays a particularly important role in improving spiritual life, building a healthy cultural environment, developing human physical strength and effectively exploiting tourism potential at the grassroots level, contributing to sustainable socio -economic development in the locality.

Deputy Director Huynh Van Loi emphasized that organizing this training course is a practical requirement to consolidate and update knowledge and improve capacity for commune-level cadres and civil servants, meeting increasingly high requirements in the new situation.

This training course is organized not only to equip, update and improve knowledge, professional skills and expertise in the fields of culture, sports and tourism, helping commune-level cadres and civil servants meet the requirements of their job positions, effectively perform state management tasks at the commune level to complete the common tasks of the industry, but also to be a forum for trainees to update new policies and grasp legal regulations in their assigned fields.

The training course also aims to exchange practical experiences, share good models, and creative ways of doing things from the grassroots. At the same time, it is also a place to discuss and share problems and difficulties that are happening locally.

Through the program, Mr. Huynh Van Loi hopes that commune-level cadres and civil servants will be able to study, discuss and share experiences revolving around many practical contents such as: Cultural work at the grassroots level, family building work in cultural and social development; speaking activities and providing information to the press, guiding the implementation of grassroots information activities; organizing sports competitions and developing local sports movements, knowledge of state management of tourism, etc.
