At the ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan (born in 1978, hometown Hai Phong city), Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police to take up the position of Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security from January 20.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To affirmed that Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan was assessed by the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee as a cadre with strong political will, good moral qualities, basic training, maturity from the grassroots, work experience, leadership, direction, management and operation capabilities.
The transfer of Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan, Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police, to take up the position of Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security demonstrates the trust of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security in him personally; at the same time, it is also a joy, an honor, and a great responsibility for Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To suggested that Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan promote his experience and intelligence together with the Party Committee of the Ministry's Office to continue to unite, unify, lead and direct the functional units under the Ministry's Office to perform well the work of advising, proposing and coordinating according to the assigned functions and tasks. At the same time, he should preside over and coordinate well the work of receiving information, analyzing and processing reports, and forecasting the situation related to policies and laws on ensuring security and order as well as building the Party and the People's Public Security force.
Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan actively coordinates with agencies under central ministries, branches, and local authorities in performing all aspects of work; maintains good performance of the function of spokesperson and providing information to the press according to the regulations of the Ministry's Office.
At the same time, do a good job of political and ideological education, internal political protection, inspection, supervision and preparation for the Party Congresses at all levels of the Office of the Ministry for the 2025-2030 term.
