According to data from the provincial Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development), up to now, the whole province has harvested more than 1,500 hectares of rice, concentrated in the following localities: Thach Ha (100 hectares), Duc Tho (500 hectares), Huong Khe (more than 200 hectares), Cam Xuyen (more than 250 hectares)...
According to the initial assessment of the professional agency, although the weather at the beginning of the season was unfavorable due to prolonged heat and complicated pest and disease situations, with close guidance and timely recommendations from the locality and professional agencies, people focused on planting on schedule and taking care of the rice according to technical procedures, so the rice grew relatively well. It is expected that the average yield of the province will reach over 50.28 quintals/ha (equivalent to the yield of the summer-autumn crop in 2022).
