Launch of street art performance program "Back to the heritage land"

On the evening of July 30, the Art Council of the Traditional Arts Theater evaluated the performances in the art performance program "Returning to the Heritage Land", performed by the theater's artists and actors.

The program has 11 singing, dancing and music performances imbued with Cham culture, including: Solidarity; Phum A Tay; Pottery Village Love; Stork; Triumphal Song; Colorful Threads; Meeting the Cham Village Girl; Meeting the Ramuwan Festival Night; Sailing Song; Love Affair; Cham People Enjoy the Festival.

With a program duration of more than 60 minutes, including all types of performing arts such as traditional musical instruments, folk dance, folk singing, contemporary folk songs... Combined with that, costumes, props, musical instruments all show the characteristics of traditional Cham culture.

With the aim of building a performance program in the form of street art to serve the people and tourists, as well as for the unit's touring activities in localities in the province, the performances are all staged with a fast tempo, expressing the excitement, exuding the joyful and bustling spirit of the festival atmosphere in Cham villages. From there, the audience can have meaningful moments of enjoying art, as well as learn more about the beauty of Cham folk art.

Singing and dancing performance "Cham people celebrate festival".

The sounds of paranung drums, ghinang drums, saranai trumpets, Cham dances, and songs that evoke the lyrical atmosphere of Cham villages... All of these bring the audience back to the Cham heritage through music and dance, connecting the past to the present, from traditional to contemporary.
