TPO - Due to a conflict over debt with a colleague, a female elementary school teacher in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, was dragged out of the classroom by her husband and children, threatened, and then had her shirt torn off and humiliated right in the schoolyard.

On the evening of December 23, Ms. NTMK (Teacher of Vinh Phuoc 1 Primary School, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province) said: She just worked with Vinh Phuoc Ward police to report that Mr. D. and his son (in Nha Trang City) broke into the classroom, dragged them out to the schoolyard, threatened them, and tore their shirts to humiliate them.

The incident occurred at Vinh Phuoc 1 Primary School, Nha Trang City.

According to Ms. K., at 3:00 p.m. the same day, while teaching in class, she heard the school security guard shouting loudly to stop two men who were aggressively storming into the class she was teaching.

Then, Mr. D. rushed into the classroom, choked her, grabbed her collar and dragged her out the door, threatening to beat her and cursed her. Many teachers and security guards ran to intervene, but Mr. D. still did not let go. Mr. D.'s son also rushed to tear Ms. K.'s shirt, exposing her body in front of the students and teachers who were standing there to stop her. After many people came to intervene, Mr. D. and his son left.

Too frightened, Ms. K. went to Vinh Phuoc Ward Police to report the incident. While working at the police station, Mr. D. continued to come to the school and entered the classroom to look for her. At this time, the school called Vinh Phuoc Ward Police to come and work with Mr. D., then Mr. D. agreed to leave.

Ms. K. said that the conflict arose from the fact that in 2020 she played with flowers and borrowed some money from Ms. M. (a teacher at the same school, Mr. D.'s wife) to solve household problems and paid the flowers and interest to Ms. M. every month. However, after that, the two had disagreements and conflicts over debt and interest payments. In early August this year, Ms. K. agreed to sign a debt confirmation paper of more than 1.2 billion VND and committed to repaying the loan in full by April 30, 2025, along with the interest rate agreed upon with Ms. M.

However, Ms. M., her husband and son often called, texted and demanded to hire gangsters to handle the matter, threatening Ms. K.'s life. Ms. M. also insulted the honor and spread false information saying that Ms. K. "deliberately defrauded and appropriated property" to parents and schools. "Wherever I went to teach extra classes, she would come to that facility and threaten to close the class, causing no one to want to hire me. Ms. M.'s actions have seriously affected my honor and professional reputation, my spirit has collapsed, my health has declined, and it has psychologically affected my children while they are still in school," Ms. K. said with a sob.

Ms. Huynh Thi Hong Quyen (Principal of Vinh Phuoc 1 Primary School) confirmed that the above incident was true and the school had reported it to the police.

Recently, Ms. K. filed a complaint requesting the competent authorities to promptly prevent and handle the violations of Ms. M. and her husband, to protect her life, reputation, honor, health, and spirit. She will also file a request to investigate and prosecute the act of humiliating others.

Tien Phong will continue to inform about the incident.
