Accordingly, in the music night taking place on the evening of December 19, 2023, the rapper performed the song " De ai can" without being granted a performance license.

On January 3, the Department had a working session with rapper B Ray, Tuyet Vie Entertainment Joint Stock Company (the organizer of the music night) and related parties.

" The rapper has admitted his mistakes. Therefore, the management unit as well as B Ray himself have proactively removed all De ai can products on digital platforms ," said Mr. Phuong.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City has requested the organizer, manager and rapper to provide a detailed report on the progress of the performance on the night of December 19, 2023 as well as the production process of the controversial product as reported.

Previously, on the afternoon of December 28, rapper B Ray quickly posted an apology and removed the controversial song on all platforms after the Department of Performing Arts announced that it was checking and verifying the song " De ai can" which was criticized by the audience as offensive, vulgar, and cursing his ex-lover.

Not only does the song use vulgar and offensive words, the content of the song makes the audience angry because the rap verses revolve around hatred and negative attitudes towards ex-lovers such as:

" I hope your slippers will stick to the escalator. I hope every time you climb the stairs, your foot will slip. I hope you beat cancer, only to get cancer again. I hope your worst days will come when the sky is clear, and nothing you plan will work out. I hope you die peacefully in bed, and wake up in hell ."
