Lao Cai and Yen Bai Provincial Business Associations develop merger plan

On June 22, the Lao Cai and Yen Bai Provincial Business Associations held a meeting to agree on a plan to merge the Lao Cai and Yen Bai Provincial Business Associations. Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee attended and delivered a speech at the meeting.

On the basis of voluntariness, solidarity, consensus and high responsibility, Lao Cai Provincial Business Association and Yen Bai Provincial Business Association agreed on the contents of coordination in implementing the plan to merge the provincial Business Association.

The merger plan is built with requirements consistent with the orientation of the Central Government, Lao Cai province, Yen Bai province, Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry ; ensuring consistency with the actual situation after implementing the 2-level local government in the locality.

In addition, the development of the plan must ensure legality, inheritance and development during the implementation process; perform well the role and position of the business association as a bridge between provincial leadership agencies and state management agencies in all production and business activities of enterprises within the new province, to ensure that state management agencies and enterprises are closely connected and accompany each other in the development process.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The merger will create new strength to carry out tasks that were previously very difficult.

The Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that after the merger, the business association will promote its role in connecting, building a development environment, creating conditions for businesses to develop sustainably; at the same time, become a "common home" to attract and help businesses in the area operate effectively and bring socio-economic values to the development of the new Lao Cai province.
