Mr. Truong Viet Hoang confirmed that he will lead Da Nang Club in the 2023/2024 National First Division. The goal of the team on the banks of the Han River is to quickly return to the V-League 2024/2025. After Da Nang Club was officially relegated, Coach Pham Minh Duc also said goodbye to the team.

The coaching position at Hoa Xuan Stadium is constantly "heated up" by rumors. Initially, Coach Trieu Quang Ha was expected to take on this difficult task. After that, the Da Nang Club's leadership put their trust in Coach Vo Phuoc. However, this coach had to decline due to health problems. Mr. Phuoc agreed to be an assistant to Coach Truong Viet Hoang next season.

In the past, Coach Truong Viet Hoang led Hai Phong Club, Viettel Club and Ho Chi Minh City Club. He won many titles such as the National Cup with Hai Phong Club, V-League championship with Viettel Club. This former midfielder did not build fancy playing styles for the teams he worked for. In return, Mr. Hoang knew how to fan the spirit of the players. At the same time, efficiency is what Coach Truong Viet Hoang puts first.

In the 2023/2024 First Division, the two candidates for direct promotion and play-off are Da Nang Club and PVF-CAND Club. These teams all have stable financial resources and the best personnel in the tournament.

As for Da Nang FC, they have just confirmed that they will part ways with 3 foreign players and 2 central defenders Lieu Quang Vinh and Lam Anh Quang. Veteran midfielder Hoang Minh Tam is no longer in the team's plans. The "expensive" pillars in the transfer market such as Dang Anh Tuan, Phan Van Long, Pham Cong Nhat all still have long-term contracts with the team.

Da Nang FC plans to promote many young players who have just played in the National Second Division to play in the First Division. Some names on loan from Quang Nam FC will also return to Hoa Xuan Stadium.
