On the afternoon of March 28, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hoa Binh province coordinated with Tien Ngan Investment and Trade Company Limited (Dan Chu Ward, Hoa Binh City) and Tomas Trade Co. Ltd. Korea, ASIA Ocean Company to export 7.5 tons of pickled chili peppers to the Korean market.
According to the Plant Protection Department of Hoa Binh province, Korean enterprises need about 4,000 tons of pickled chili peppers per year. It is expected that in 2024, Tien Ngan Investment and Trading Company Limited will export 150 tons of pickled chili peppers to the Korean market. Therefore, from now until the end of 2024, the agricultural sector of Hoa Binh province will expand about 50 hectares of the area for growing pickled chili peppers for export, concentrated in the districts of Luong Son, Lac Thuy, Kim Boi and Hoa Binh city.

Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hoa Binh province Nguyen Huy Nhuan informed that agricultural exports in Hoa Binh in recent years have shown many improvements, with high growth in both export output and number of export markets. This batch of chili for export has a new point because this is the first batch of products exported according to orders from foreign partners (including varieties, preliminary processing techniques, processing, packaging all meet the requirements of the partners).
In particular, this shipment of chili peppers, along with other products such as sugar cane, Dien grapefruit, Kim Boi bamboo shoots, etc., is expected to have a positive impact and promote the export of key agricultural products in Hoa Binh province in the coming time.

In recent years, Hoa Binh province has not only exported traditional products such as sugarcane, oranges, grapefruits, etc. to foreign markets but also promoted new products and crops; at the same time, strengthening the confidence of producers, officials, and local authorities in organizing production according to order requirements.
In addition, Hoa Binh also encourages key agricultural growing areas and export enterprises to boldly invest in production lines and technology for deep processing, creating momentum to shift from exporting raw and fresh products to exporting processed products to increase output and product value.
