This morning, Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School, District 1 launched a series of donations from students and parents to help people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3. As of this morning, the first donation was more than 147 million VND, along with hundreds of notebooks, pens, school supplies, school bags, clothes, milk, cakes, etc. The entire amount of money and items will be transferred by the school to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Nghe Ward; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of District 1 to send to people in disaster-hit areas.

Ms. Do Ngoc Chi, the school's principal, said that the donation campaign will last from today until September 30. Also this morning, the school presented 29 health insurance cards to 29 disadvantaged students at the school, a gift from a philanthropist to the children during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
