On September 6, the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa City issued Official Dispatch No. 813/PGD on urgently deploying response to storm No. 3 in 2024.

Accordingly, the Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa City requested the Principals of educational institutions in Thanh Hoa City to immediately implement the following contents: Seriously implement the contents of Official Dispatch No. 14/CD-TU, dated September 5, 2024 on strengthening leadership and direction in response to storm No. 3 in 2024; Official Dispatch No. 17/CD-UBND, dated September 3, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on urgently implementing response to storm No. 3 in 2024 and Official Dispatch No. 4/CD-UBND, dated September 6, 2024 of the City People's Committee on urgently implementing response to storm No. 3 in 2024.

Closely monitor the developments of storm No. 3, be on duty 24/7; maintain regular contact with authorities and local rescue forces to promptly respond in case of incidents, implement the "4 on-site" motto; promptly inform the school's mass media so that all cadres, teachers, employees, parents and students know how to proactively prevent and respond effectively, and resolutely not let damage occur due to subjective awareness.

Make plans and promptly move assets, machinery, equipment, tables, chairs, records, and books to a safe place to ensure no damage, breakage, or loss, and to minimize damage caused by storms.

Principals of all educational institutions in Thanh Hoa City will allow students to take a break from school and stop all school activities starting from Friday afternoon, September 6, 2024 to Sunday, September 8, 2024. Students will return to school as usual on Monday, September 9, 2024. If storm No. 3 develops more complicatedly, the Department of Education and Training will notify later.

The principals of educational institutions set the highest goal in any situation to ensure absolute safety for students and staff and to minimize the impact of storms on school facilities and property and individuals. Absolutely do not be subjective or negligent.

Assign storm duty and ensure smooth information flow, regularly report to the City Department of Education and Training.
