Exhibition of rural industrial products and OCOP products in Ba Vi district

From December 12 to 16, Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the People's Committee of Ba Vi district ( Hanoi ), departments, branches, associations, and handicraft associations to organize the Fair and Exhibition of rural industrial products and OCOP products in Ba Vi district in 2024.

Ba Vi milk is a typical product of Ba Vi district.

The program has about 100-150 booths of enterprises, production facilities and exhibition areas, promoting images of rural industrial production activities, OCOP products, craft village products, strong products of Ba Vi district and districts in Hanoi. In addition, the program also organizes exhibitions , promotions, and introductions of production and business activities, tourism activities of Ba Vi district; Demonstrations of some typical handicrafts of the craft village performed by artisans and skilled workers.

In the program, businesses, production facilities, artisans, skilled workers in Ba Vi district and districts and towns in the city have more opportunities to connect and trade with each other. Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Dinh Thang said that the program aims to support businesses and rural industrial production facilities in Ba Vi district to introduce and promote the image of production and business activities, tourism activities of Ba Vi district associated with traditional beauty, preserving folk culture in the district.

Along with that, the program introduces handicraft products, craft village products, and OCOP products of the district to visitors inside and outside the district, creating conditions for rural industrial establishments to access economic development opportunities, contributing to creating motivation to promote the development of industrial and handicraft production. The exhibition fair is held at Quang Oai Stadium, Tay Dang Town, Ba Vi District, Hanoi City from December 12 to 16, 2024.

Ba Vi district currently has 20 craft villages, 108 cooperatives, 180 farms raising livestock, poultry and waterfowl in operation, creating many products with high commercial value. Up to now, Ba Vi district has developed 155 products participating in the evaluation and OCOP ranking of 3 stars or higher. Outstanding OCOP products are fresh milk, dairy products, hill chicken, vegetables, sweet potatoes, dong vermicelli, ostrich meat, lotus seed ham, etc.
