BPO - On the afternoon of December 26, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Binh Phuoc province coordinated with the People's Committee of Chon Thanh town to organize a workshop to promote the development of production, preliminary processing, preservation and export of agricultural products in 2024.

At the workshop, delegates reviewed the overall picture of the development of the system of preliminary processing, processing, preserving agricultural products, trade promotion, developing product consumption markets in the province and effective linkage and cooperation models. Despite remarkable achievements, the processing stage is still a bottleneck in the agricultural production value chain. Delegates emphasized that investing in modern processing technology not only improves quality but also helps agricultural products meet strict international standards.

In recent times, the construction of high-tech agricultural production models has achieved many positive results when smart irrigation models and the use of drone technology are being piloted in key growing areas, bringing outstanding efficiency. In addition, cashew, rubber and fruit processing enterprises have begun to apply automated production lines, creating a breakthrough in reducing post-harvest losses and increasing productivity. This is a testament to the great potential of Binh Phuoc agriculture when combining modern technology and value chain linkage.

Through that, delegates also emphasized the importance of developing a modern processing and preservation system to help Binh Phuoc agricultural products compete better in the international market.
