Specifically, more than 2.85 million subscribers (74.21%) performed standardization (in 3 stages: after receiving notification (from March 15 to March 31), after being locked in one direction (from March 31) and after being locked in two directions (from April 15).

However, there are still more than 985 thousand subscribers (25.79%) who have not yet standardized according to the notification of contract liquidation, termination of telecommunications service provision, and subscription numbers being revoked. With these revoked numbers, telecommunications enterprises will collect them into their number warehouse and provide them to other individuals and organizations in need according to regulations (Point h, Clause 8, Article 1, Decree 49/2017/ND-CP).

The above results are achieved because users are aware that using a phone number with full and accurate information registered with their own information is very important, when the phone has become an indispensable means in daily life.

Especially the participation and synchronous implementation of businesses in deploying notification measures (texting, calling, sending staff to meet directly with each subscriber group); standardization (directly, online).

In addition, with the support and consensus of press and media agencies, from March 15 to May 15, they regularly published news articles and guided users in carrying out standardization work.

In the coming time, along with continuing to direct and urge businesses to continue to cross-check with the national database on population and standardize subscriber information, the Ministry of Information and Communications will focus on large-scale inspection of subscriber information management of mobile telecommunications businesses (being implemented from April to June 2023), strictly handling violations (especially with subscribers who are using and owning many SIMs/documents (>=10 SIMs/documents).

At the same time, the Ministry of Information and Communications recommends that service users raise awareness, do not use or assist in the purchase and sale of SIM cards that do not comply with regulations on the market, and when discovering that the mobile SIM card they are using has information that is not consistent with their own information (by sending the message TTTB to 1414 - completely free of charge), they should proactively contact the customer care number of the mobile business to update to ensure their own rights and contribute to limiting the situation of spam messages and spam calls.
