(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of June 24, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung chaired a meeting on implementing solutions to review, evaluate, upgrade, and develop information systems to serve the direction, administration, and service of people and businesses to meet the requirements of administrative unit arrangement according to the new model. The meeting was held in a direct and online format from the Government Headquarters to the Headquarters of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Pham Duc Long reported on the implementation of 5 important information platforms/systems: Administrative procedure settlement system; document management and operation system; online meeting system; data integration and sharing platform; reporting information system.

At the conference, ministries, branches and localities reported on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP of the Government; Solutions for reviewing, evaluating, upgrading and developing information systems to serve direction, administration and people and businesses: Information system for handling administrative procedures, Document management and administration system, Data integration and sharing platform - LGSP, Reporting information system, Online meeting system...; The implementation of specialized data transmission network.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Chi Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of central ministries, branches and localities in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and documents of the Central Government.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Chi Dung requested leaders of ministries, branches and localities to thoroughly grasp the responsibility of ensuring the unity, synchronization, continuity and stability of IT systems, and to avoid interruption in the provision of public services and state management before and after the reorganization of the apparatus.

The Ministry of Science and Technology is assigned to preside over the expansion of the specialized Data Transmission network in a centralized and interconnected manner from the central to the grassroots levels.

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested ministries, branches and localities to coordinate with enterprises to ensure infrastructure, terminal equipment and funding to upgrade IT systems; mobilize mass organizations and community digital technology teams to support online public service guidance.
