Hung Yen aims to become a new growth pole of the Capital Region

On the morning of June 30, in Hung Yen province, comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front attended the ceremony to announce the resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels; establishment of Party organizations, appointment of Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Hung Yen province.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Do Van Chien, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, respectfully sent congratulations from General Secretary To Lam and key leaders to the Party Committee, government and people of Hung Yen province at this historic moment. He expressed his belief that Hung Yen province will develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a new growth pole of the Capital Region and the Northern Delta region, building a rich, civilized province, and people with a prosperous and happy life.

The merger of Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces into the new Hung Yen province especially opens up a new development space, maximizing the potential and advantages of the two regions of Thai Binh and Hung Yen, rich in cultural traditions, revolutionary and heroic history; combining the potential and advantages of the marine ecological region, marine economy with the advantage of being close to the capital Hanoi to build Hung Yen province into a new growth pole of the Capital Region, the Northern Delta, a province with modern industrial development. Hung Yen will also be the center of marine economy, new energy, civilized urban areas; ecological agriculture, modern countryside, civilized farmers.

At the same time, the province needs to preserve and promote the unique cultural values of the ancient land of Hung Yen - Pho Hien, a land of talented people and Thai Binh "the land of rice and craft", contributing to the successful implementation of the goal that by 2030, our country will become a developing country with modern industry and high average income; by 2045, it will become a developed country with high income".

The Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front deeply believe that the Party Committee, the government, the armed forces, and the people of Hung Yen province will unite, promote the historical, revolutionary, and heroic traditions of the two sacred lands, be proud, confident, and join hands to build Hung Yen province into a new growth pole with rapid, sustainable, and unique development, and the people will have a prosperous and happy life.

Regarding the personnel of Hung Yen province (new), the Politburo appointed comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee .

In Decision No. 1266/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Nguyen Khac Than , Deputy Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee (new) for the 2020-2025 term, to hold the position of Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee (new) for the 2021-2026 term.

In Decision No. 1318/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province (new ) for the 2021 - 2026 term, including:

1. Mr. Nguyen Le Huy , Member of the Standing Committee of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

2. Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, Permanent Vice Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

3. Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Member of the Executive Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

4. Mr. Pham Van Nghiem, Member of the Executive Committee of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, Vice Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

5. Mr. Lai Van Hoan , Member of the Executive Committee of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, Vice Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.
