Huong Tram proudly sings to honor journalists

(Dan Tri) - The female singer shared her pride when participating in a special art program in Hanoi on the evening of June 19, "Vietnam Revolutionary Press - 100 years of glory and responsibility".

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), the political and artistic program Vietnam Revolutionary Press - 100 years of glory and responsibility will take place on the evening of June 19 at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Cultural Palace, Hanoi .

The program has the participation of singers such as: Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Duc Tuan, Vo Ha Tram, Dong Hung, Huong Tram, Oplus Group...

Sharing before the show, Huong Tram said that being able to sing in a program honoring journalists made her emotional.

"As a person born and raised in Vietnam, I am truly proud and honored to be chosen to contribute my voice to honor journalists and writers who have contributed their efforts to the 100-year journey of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism," she expressed.

According to the female singer, she will perform two acts with messages about a Vietnam that both preserves traditional cultural values and develops modernity and integration. In which, the song Hello Vietnam expresses the aspirations of the country in the new era, and Mot Vong Viet Nam, which she sings in harmony with Dong Hung and Vo Ha Tram, will close the program with a strong message about solidarity, dedication and belief in the future.

“Choosing these two songs to perform is also my dream and hope for the country's press in particular and Vietnam in general to reach further in the future, but always maintain the pure Vietnamese culture that we are always proud of,” Huong Tram shared more.

In addition to Huong Tram's performance, the audience also enjoyed many famous songs associated with important historical milestones of the country such as: Len Dang (musician Luu Huu Phuoc), Tien Quan Ca (musician Van Cao), Du Kich Song Thao (musician Do Nhuan), Buoc Chan Tren Dai Truong Son (lyrics: Dang Thuc; music: Vu Trong Hoi) and Dat Nuoc Tron Niem Vui (musician Hoang Ha).

In particular, the Oplus group will perform 2 songs Tien Quan Ca and Buoc Chan Tren Dai Truong Son with heroic spirit, conveying the spirit of revolutionary journalism present on all fronts, throughout historical periods. Singer Duc Tuan will bring 2 special emotional nuances with Dat Nuoc Tron Niem Vui and Tam Su Nguoi Lam Bao .

The program also featured guest appearances by veteran journalists such as Mr. Pham Viet Long - former Chief of Office of the Ministry of Culture and Information, journalist Tran Mai Huong - former General Director of Vietnam News Agency...

Vietnam Revolutionary Press - 100 years of glory and responsibility will take place at 8:00 p.m. on June 19, broadcast live on channel H1 of Hanoi Radio and Television.
