On the afternoon of December 12, the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Cu Kuin district held a meeting to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2023), the 34th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2023) and announced the Decision of the Secretary of the District Military Party Committee.

Attending the ceremony were Colonel Tran Minh Trong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Secretary of Cu Kuin District Party Committee Phuc Binh Nie Kdam; Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Cu Kuin District People's Committee Vo Tan Huy and leaders of relevant departments.
At the ceremony, the delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army. After 79 years of building, fighting and growing, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , President Ho Chi Minh, the care, protection and nurturing of the people, the help of international friends and with the tireless determination of generations of cadres and soldiers, the Vietnam People's Army has grown stronger and more mature, continuing the glorious history of the nation, forever worthy of being a trustworthy political force, a loyal fighting force of the Party, State and people.
On October 17, 1989, according to the wishes of the people of the whole country, the Central Party Secretariat (6th tenure) decided to take December 22 as the founding day of the Vietnam People's Army and also as the National Defense Day.

Promoting the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, the armed forces of Cu Kuin district always focus on completing military and defense tasks well. Notably, they thoroughly organize and seriously implement combat readiness regimes, organization, military staffing, and equipment in accordance with regulations; well implement policies for soldiers on active duty, the army's rear and the "Repaying gratitude" movement; well implement the payment of regimes for subjects according to Decisions 290, 142, 62, 49 of the Prime Minister with a total amount of more than 4 billion VND...
With practical and effective work, in recent years, the district armed forces have been trusted and highly appreciated by local authorities and party committees.

At the ceremony, the District Party Committee Organizing Committee announced the Decision of the District Party Committee Standing Committee appointing comrade Phuc Binh Nie Kdam, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of District Military Party Committee Secretary, term 2020 - 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Phuc Binh Nie Kdam expressed his determination to inherit and promote the achievements of the past time, promote the tradition of solidarity and unity with the collective Executive Committee of the District Military Party Committee to promote internal strength, seize opportunities, overcome difficulties to lead the successful implementation of the goals set out in the Resolution of the District Party Congress as well as the Resolution of the District Military Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
