The organizers of the Hanoi Open Pool Championship 2023 held an exhibition match between Efren Reyes and Do Khai before the final match. Thousands of spectators at the My Dinh Sports and Athletics Palace witnessed the interesting shots of the two players.

Do Khai participated in the first round of the 2023 National Billiards & Snooker Championship. This player is nicknamed "Long-haired Khai".

The Hanoi Open Pool Championship 2023 is part of the official competition system of the World Nineball Tour along with the US Open, UK Open, European Open, Spanish Open.
The tournament took place from October 10 to 15 at My Dinh Sports Palace, Hanoi , bringing together the world's top players such as Shane Van Boening, Jason Shaw, Fedor Gorsrt, Ko Ping Chung... The final match was a competition between Jason Shaw and Albin Ouschan.
The total prize is $200,000, with the champion taking home $30,000.
