"Legend" Kenny G speaks Vietnamese, promises to do this noble thing when coming to Hanoi

The Kenny G Live in Vietnam program will last more than 2 hours, following the artist's performance format on major stages around the world. The male artist will perform with all 3 types of saxophones he has played and will say goodbye to a saxophone that has been with him for many years to give to the Good Morning Vietnam music project initiated and organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam.

Musician Tuan Nam - Stage Director of the program expressed his emotion at the gift that Kenny G gave to the charity program of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

"When I first heard that Kenny G donated a trumpet to the show, I was very curious whether it was the trumpet he used to perform with or a brand new trumpet produced by his Kenny G trumpet label. He is probably the only trumpet artist in the world with his own trumpet label," musician Tuan Nam expressed.

According to musician Tuan Nam, domestic trumpet artists also hope to own Kenny G's gift trumpet. However, musician Nguyen Tuan Nam speculates that the trumpet will probably fall into the hands of a collector over 45 years old.

"I think it's a generation of collectors who were familiar with Kenny G's music in their youth and, more importantly, have enough financial resources to own it through auction," musician Tuan Nam said.

Kenny G will donate a trumpet to the concert in Vietnam

According to the organizers, a Jazz drum set was invested in and purchased from Los Angeles (USA) for Kenny G to bring to Vietnam. This is a rare drum set in Southeast Asia. The two mixers are the heart of the stage that the entire Southeast Asia region does not have, so the organizers had to choose the solution of bringing them from Japan.

"Everything is carefully prepared for a truly perfect and professional music night. Kenny G's entire crew, who have been with him for decades, are all famous artists.
