(CLO) The Israeli army killed three employees of the World Central Kitchen (WCK) relief organization and at least two others in an airstrike on a vehicle in Gaza, and continued to attack Lebanon despite the ceasefire.
The US-based charity, which runs community kitchens in Gaza, said it had suspended its operations in Gaza following Saturday's attack.
Although the Israeli military said it targeted “terrorists,” WCK said it was “unaware that any individuals in the vehicle were involved in the Hamas attack on October 7.”

Earlier on Saturday, Palestinian Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal told AFP news agency that the bodies of "at least five dead people were taken [to hospital], including three employees of World Central Kitchen" after the attack.
“All three men worked for WCK and they were hit while driving a WCK car in Khan Younis,” Basal said, adding that the car “had the company logo clearly printed on it.”
Meanwhile, in Lebanon, despite the ceasefire, Israeli forces carried out several airstrikes on towns in southern Lebanon, killing two people and wounding six others.
An Israeli drone attack on the village of Rab el-Thalathine in southern Lebanon killed two people and injured two others on Saturday, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) said.
Lebanon's Public Health Ministry said an Israeli drone attack also hit a car in the town of Majdal Zoun in the city of Tyre, injuring three people, including a child.
According to the ministry, Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes on the Tibnah area in the town of Beisariyah in Sidon, injuring at least one person.
The Israeli military said it had struck a Hezbollah facility in Sidon that housed rocket launchers for the militant group.
Israel has carried out attacks despite a ceasefire with Hezbollah that was reached just days ago, making the prospect of the 13-month war actually ending very slim.
