The highlight of the heavyweight championship event was a rematch between champion Fabio Wardley and challenger Frazer Clarke. In their match in March, Frazer Clarke put up a good fight but failed to upset Wardley. The match ended in a draw, after a unanimous decision by the judges.

The two are scheduled to meet again at the early morning event of October 13 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This time, champion Fabio Wardley took less than 3 minutes to extinguish all of Clarke's hopes.

Fabio Wardley knocked out Frazer Clarke in the first round.

The Olympic bronze medalist got off to a good start. He threw two jabs in quick succession to open the fight, putting Wardley on the defensive. However, Wardley quickly responded with a well-placed right hook that stunned Clarke. He then threw a series of punches to Clarke’s head before his opponent collapsed to the floor.

Referee Victor Loughlin immediately stopped the match, awarding the victory to Wardley because Clarke was no longer able to defend. Clarke's left jaw was almost deformed after receiving powerful blows from the champion.

TNT Sports commentator Carl Frampton observed the incident closely, claiming that Clarke's jaw was "dislocated or broken". Fabio Wardley successfully defended his British heavyweight title, improving his personal record to 18 wins, 1 draw and no losses.

For Frazer Clarke, this was his first defeat in 10 fights in the British heavyweight championship.

Fabio Wardley is still the British heavyweight champion.

The British boxer is known as a knockout specialist. Out of 18 wins, he has knocked out his opponents 17 times. The only loser to escape being knocked out by Wardley was Jakub Wojcik in 2017.

He fell to the floor in the first round after a left hook from Wardley, but got up and fought the rest of the match. In the end, Wojcik still lost after the referee's decision (lost 35-40).
