Keysight Introduces Pulse Generation Option for Handheld Analyzers

Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên19/06/2024

Today’s field engineers are tasked with the routine maintenance and troubleshooting of RF, microwave, and millimeter wave (mmWave) systems. This requires field engineers to use data signals generated by pulse generators to test a variety of devices and systems to ensure they are operating as intended.

Keysight now offers a wide range of convenient test solutions

To generate the variety of pulses used in field testing, engineers need to use expensive pulse generators, which may not be specifically designed for field use.

Keysight FieldFox Option 357 signal generation software addresses this challenge by allowing engineers to quickly upgrade their existing FieldFox B and C series handheld analyzers to meet specific test needs quickly. Field engineers only need a software license key and firmware update to take advantage of the embedded pulse generation capabilities of this industry-leading handheld analyzer.

“When working in the field, engineers need flexible test solutions that can quickly adapt to rapidly changing needs,” said Vince Nguyen, vice president and general manager of Keysight’s Aerospace, Defense and Government Solutions Group . “Through the FieldFox Option 357 pulse generator software, Keysight delivers long-awaited functionality for high-impact field applications in the aerospace, automotive and telecommunications industries. As the only handheld analyzer with an integrated pulse generator up to 54 GHz, FieldFox enables optimal exploitation of existing field instruments through a software-defined platform that is easily configured with a software license key.”
