On June 17, Lao Cai Electricity Company held the opening ceremony of self-defense training in 2024.
Participating in the training were 45 officers and militia soldiers from the following units: Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, Provincial Party Committee Mass Mobilization Department, Lao Cai Electricity Company, Provincial Social Insurance, Lao Cai Development Bank Branch.
In 2023, the training work of the units completed 100% of the training program; the test results reached over 75% good and excellent or higher. Military training and political education work are regularly given attention and focus; training is organized closely, ensuring the number of troops, time, and good quality; many collectives and individuals are commended for performing national defense and security tasks.
This training session focuses on the following contents: militia and self-defense forces participating in building the all-people national defense to protect the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new situation; managing and protecting the national border of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new situation; propaganda and mobilization work of militia and self-defense forces, participating in resolving some complicated situations in the locality; training in militia and self-defense force movements, technical and tactical movements, while improving combat readiness and physical training of self-defense officers and soldiers.
