Opening of the Exhibition of large-scale propaganda paintings promoting sovereignty over borders and islands

On the morning of September 20, at April 16 Square (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City), the Department of Grassroots Culture ( Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize an exhibition of large-scale propaganda paintings to promote the sovereignty of the country's borders and islands, aiming to raise awareness of the position, role and special importance of Vietnam's seas and islands in the cause of national construction and protection throughout the Party, people and army.

The exhibition displays and introduces 160 works by professional and non-professional artists nationwide selected from propaganda painting competitions organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture.

Through the language and images of propaganda paintings, we aim to encourage, motivate and widely propagate to cadres, party members and people the spirit of fighting, building and defending the Fatherland; at the same time, educate the tradition of patriotism, the will of independence, self-reliance, overcoming all difficulties and hardships of the entire Party, people and army in the cause of fighting for national liberation, firmly protecting the sovereignty , territorial integrity and border security of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the leaders of the Department of Grassroots Culture awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who had outstanding achievements in coordinating the organization of large-scale propaganda painting exhibitions in Ninh Thuan province.
