In less than 6 months, Asus has consecutively opened 3 technology experience centers in Vietnam, demonstrating its efforts to reshape the way users approach modern AI and gaming laptops.

Located at 264 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the second Asus experience store in Vietnam - Asus Exclusive Store (AES) - officially opened after the success of the first model in Hanoi in March. Along with the opening of ROG Exclusive Store (RES) also in Ho Chi Minh City just a few days ago, this brand has opened 3 large experience centers in less than half a year, reflecting the company's rapid expansion and strong commitment to the Vietnamese market.

The launch of AES and RES is a direct response to the changing buying behavior of Vietnamese consumers, who increasingly prioritize design, real-world performance, and hands-on experience over technical specifications. With AI and new laptop standards like Copilot+ PC on the rise, Asus believes that hands-on experience will play a decisive role in the product selection process.

The place to experience advanced AI laptop technology

At the Zenbook area, users can experience high-end thin and light laptops such as the Zenbook DUO with dual-screen design, the super-light 980g Zenbook A14 using Snapdragon, or the Zenbook S16 weighing only 1.5kg with the latest Ryzen AI chip - representing the Copilot+ PC generation that the company is focusing on developing.

Many devices are equipped with specialized AI chips such as Intel Core Ultra, AMD Ryzen AI or Qualcomm Snapdragon X, supporting a series of new AI features on Windows such as Copilot assistant, Windows Recall, enhancing images and sounds during online meetings by filtering noise, smoothing motion and optimizing performance and battery life based on usage behavior.

Since the launch of the first Copilot+ PC model in Vietnam, the Vivobook S15, in July 2024, the Copilot+PC market share has increased from 0.2% to 4-5% of total weekly sales in just one year. For ASUS alone, the Copilot+PC ratio has increased to about 7-8% of the company's total weekly sales. The high-end Zenbook line now accounts for about 9% of the company's consumer (non-gaming) laptop sales in Vietnam - double the 4.5% level five years ago, showing the growing appeal of AI laptops.

“Second home” for gamers

Located not far from Asus Exclusive Store, ROG Exclusive Store at 158-160 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Dien Hong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City is the company's first gaming experience store in Vietnam. With an area of over 184 m2, this space displays the entire ROG ecosystem from laptops, PC components to technology fashion accessories.

Here, users can experience high-end laptop models such as ROG Strix SCAR 18, Zephyrus G16 using RTX 5090 priced at over 140 million VND. There is also RTX 5090 Astral for creators and professional gamers. Users can try AAA games, make videos , test heat dissipation and rendering speed right on the spot to feel the hardware power.

Not only a place to showcase technology, ROG Exclusive Store is also a community space - a place for mini tournaments, in-depth workshops and events such as ROG Day: Season 4, creating a connecting playground for gamers in Vietnam. According to Asus, in the second quarter, ROG accounted for 28% of the nationwide gaming laptop market share, showing strong attraction from performance-loving users.

AES and RES for general use

Not only serving high-end customers, both AES and RES have dedicated spaces for popular laptop lines - where users can easily access and directly experience models priced from 10 to 25 million VND.

At AES, the Vivobook area stands out with a series of products such as Vivobook S14/S16, Vivobook Go and Vivobook 15, with a thin and light design, long battery life and reasonable configuration - suitable for students, office workers or beginners to laptops. Some new versions also integrate AI processing chips supporting Copilot.

At RES, users can experience the TUF Gaming and Asus Gaming V16 models - reasonable choices for general gaming, technical graphics or semi-professional content creation needs. Although in the mid-range segment, these models still have discrete cards, optimal cooling, and military-grade durability.

Add touch points for users

Before launching AES and RES, Asus has deployed the Asus AI Innovation Hub model since 2024 - technology experience areas inside retail systems such as The Gioi Di Dong, Phong Vu, CellphoneS. These cooperation models are a stepping stone, helping the company better understand the need for real-life experiences, thereby expanding to specialized centers such as AES and RES in 2025.

So AES and RES are not built to compete with retail or e-commerce. Instead, these stores add an important touchpoint in the shopping journey, where users can try, compare, and experience directly the devices from popular to high-end before deciding.

“We are not opening stores to compete with retail partners, but to enhance the overall experience within the ecosystem,” said Peter Chang, General Manager of Asus Asia Pacific. “Users increasingly value hands-on experience and thorough consultation, which is why AES and RES will become increasingly important in Vietnam.”
