Ms. Chau Thi An Binh (born in 1979, residing in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City) has just been prosecuted and temporarily detained by the Department of Police Investigation of Crimes of Corruption, Economy, and Smuggling of the Ministry of Public Security in connection with the criminal case of "Violating regulations on banking activities and other activities related to banking activities".
On the evening of June 25, the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes , and Smuggling of the Ministry of Public Security informed that the unit is investigating the criminal case of "Violation of regulations on banking activities and other activities related to banking activities" occurring at Dong A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (DAB), M&C Joint Stock Company and related units.
At the same time, the investigation agency has issued a decision to prosecute and an arrest warrant to temporarily detain Ms. Chau Thi An Binh.
After receiving the approval decision from the Supreme People's Procuracy (Department 3), the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency coordinated with the Police of Ward 11, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City to serve the decisions and procedural orders to the defendant Binh.
However, the defendant has fled or it is unknown where the defendant is.
That same evening, the Ministry of Public Security issued a wanted notice for Chau Thi An Binh. The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency said that all agencies, organizations, and individuals who know, discover, and arrest the suspect Binh are allowed.
Along with that, it is possible to request the accused to voluntarily surrender to enjoy leniency policy, while ensuring the right to self-defense and to present the contents related to the case. In case of failure to appear or surrender, the Ministry of Public Security said, it is considered as giving up the right to self-defense, and will be investigated, prosecuted and tried.
